CMA-HTN-C008-1 · Effective 2026-11-04

Purpose and scope

CMA Fitness Coach Suite supports the recording, management and exchange of Training, Nutrition, Progress and measurement information. This notice applies to Windows Personal and Android Personal. CMA is a software application, not a medical service, and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or clearance to exercise.

Trainer programmes and your own choices

A Personal Trainer is responsible for the professional recommendations and Training or Nutrition programmes they prescribe or change. You are responsible for your own exercise choices and for programmes you independently create or modify. Discuss intended changes to a Trainer-prescribed programme with your Trainer where appropriate. Recording or exchanging a programme in CMA does not establish that it is suitable for a particular person.

Exercise and Nutrition safety

Consider your circumstances, ability and the suitability of the activity before exercising or making dietary changes. Follow appropriate exercise instructions, use suitable equipment and seek qualified professional advice when necessary. If you are unsure whether to exercise, or have a condition, injury, medication or concern that may affect safety, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional before starting or continuing.

Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention if you become unwell or experience symptoms that concern you. CMA must not be used instead of emergency assistance. Nutrition records and estimates do not replace appropriate dietary or medical advice.

Medical screening and accurate records

Discuss relevant concerns directly with your Trainer or an appropriate professional. Medical histories, health-screening questionnaires and clinical records must be maintained separately from CMA. Do not record medical or health information in Notes fields. Acknowledging this notice does not provide medical clearance or automatically inform a Trainer of a concern.

Check the accuracy of information you enter, import or change. Distinguish prescribed Training and Nutrition from your own records of what you actually did or consumed. CMA cannot guarantee a particular fitness, health or nutritional outcome.

Personal information and exchanged files

Your normal fitness records are held locally in the application. Protect your device, backups and exported files. Check the intended Trainer, client and recipient when exchanging packages. Initial client enrolment uses different protection from routine recipient-specific encrypted exchanges; follow the supported exchange controls and use a trusted way of passing the initial file. Read the Privacy Policy for details.

Responsibility and statutory rights

CMA Solutions is not responsible merely because an injury occurs during an exercise that has been recorded, displayed or exchanged using the application. Responsibility for any injury depends on the individual circumstances, including the actions of the person exercising and any Personal Trainer involved.

Nothing in this notice excludes or restricts any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. This notice does not transfer CMA Solutions' own responsibilities to you or your Trainer and is not universal consent to personal-data processing.
